Mission 1Edit

Mission StartEdit

Captain America: What's the situation?

Hawkeye: I think what Cap means is, "There'd better be a real good reason we're in the briefing room instead of bed right now." And given the hour, I don't think I'm gonna settle for anything less than alien invasion.

Director Coulson: An alarm just went off at a Pym Tech facility in Queens. We need a team to check it out.

Hawkeye: What are we now, mall cops? Seriously, the boys in blue can't look in on this one?

Maria Hill: That's a Class 4, secure R&D facility. There are at least twelve distinct, top-secret bio-technology projects under development there. Eight of them with potential weapons applications.

Director Coulson: Not to mention security at the place isn't exactly light. You'd have to do a little more than jimmy the lock on the door. Anyone who could get far enough inside to trigger that alarm is already out of local law enforcement's league.

Captain America: Alright, Commander (Name). get linked up. I'll go wake the rest of the team.

Battle 1Edit

CompleteEdit

Hawkeye: No dice shaking loose their boss's name. they seemed to know where their bread was buttered. Unusually professional for a bunch of discount-bin minions, if you ask me.

Maria Hill: Professional...or terrified. There aren't many organisations with the capability to pull off this kind of job. Suffice it to say, none of them are headed by warm and fuzzy types.

Deploy 1 - Pym's InsecuritiesEdit

Screen TextEdit

Hank Pym is concerned about the security of his equipment vault. Deploy any hero to guard it.

StartEdit

Hank Pym: Ah, good, you made it after all! I was beginning to worry that they'd bypassed the tertiary alarm system along with the first two. I've got a bit of a situation...

Hawkeye: I think we're right in the middle of your 'situation', Pym.

Hank Pym: Mmm, I should clarify. We have multiple, distinct situations, all of them farily worrisome. The ont htat currently has me concerned, however, is the security alert emanating from the vault where my old Ant-Man gear is stored.

Maria Hill: That equipment could be extremely dangerous in the wrong hands.

Director Coulson: The vault is on the far side of the compound, though. I.R. scans are picking up most activity in around Pym Tech's server core, which is closer to your location.

Hawkeye: Chief, we may want to Deploy a member of our team to secure the Ant-Man vault. We'll be down a man for a bit, but it's the only way for us to cover two objectives at once.

CompleteEdit

Hank Pym: I've got bad news and worse news. The bad news is we were too late getting to the vault; my Ant-Man gear was already gone. The worse news? Whoever cracked the lock is masterful. They managed to circumvent eight separate failsafes.

Hawkeye: We may still have a chance to recover it. Whoever these guys are, that didn't seem to be their main objective, so the culpit may still be hanging around.

Mini Boss - PaladinEdit

Mid-FightEdit

Paladin: Oh, good, I thought this job was going to be boring. Nothing like a little shootout with time to kill.

CompleteEdit

Hawkeye: We got jumped by Paladin on our way to the server core.

Director Coulson: If these guys hired him, they're really sparing no expense.

Hawkeye: Whoever's behind this must have been counting on S.H.I.E.L.D. intervention. We can probably look forward to seeing a few more heavy hitters.

Melter: Hurry up, wouldja? Paladin missed his last check-in, and I don't want to be standing in this hallway when S.H.I.E.L.D. rolls up.

Ant-Man: Hey, I'm goin' as fast as I can, alright? These aren't exactly run-of-the-mill locks, and I've never exactly tried to pick one from inside it before, I just need to figure out-- Ah, there! Voila.

Melter: Just in time; we got heroes. Do me solid and stall 'em, wouldja?

Ant-Man: Hey, I didn't sign on for any fighting. Especially not against... I mean, come on, those are freaking Avengers! I'm supposed to be here to--

Melter: Ta do whatever I tell ya! Now get 'er done before I decide to find the melting point of that goofy lookin' helmet.

Deploy 2 - Lab techEdit

Screen TextEdit

With Pym Tech turned into a warzone, collateral damage could trigger a chain reaction. Deploy a Hero with a scientific mind to keep things from bubbling up.

StartEdit

Hank Pym: I'm growing concerned ybout the amount of collateral damage in the labs. These thieves don't seem to realize how volatile several of the ongoing experiments are.

Hawkeye: Or they realize and don't care. Either way, it wouldn't hurt to deploy one of our brains to make sure this place doesn't go up in a mushroom cloud while we're inside it.

Hank Pym: Actually, in the most likely scenario, the cloud would be more of an inverted tetrahedron. You see Pym particles affect the expansion of gas in a uniform, geometric... Mmm, yeah, not the best time. Got it.

CollectEdit

Hank Pym: The lab's experiments are all stable for now. The most volatile components heve been removed from harm's way.

Hawkeye: Well, that's one less thing to worry about.

Mini Boss - Ant-ManEdit

Mid-FightEdit

Ant-Man: Uh, hey gang. So... stop and stuff?

Hawkeye: ...

Hawkeye: No?

Ant-Man: ::sigh:: Alright, go easy. I'm still getting used to this shrinky business.

LoseEdit

Paladin: Hold still. We get a bonus for taking trophies off any S.H.I.E.L.D. cronies we drop.

WinEdit

Ant-Man: Hey, easy, easy, I surrender!

Hank Pym: My Ant-Man gear! Do you have any idea how dangerous that system could be?

Ant-Man: Yes! I mean, no! I mean... wait, what's the best answer for getting me off the hook here?

Hawkeye: How about the truth? You can start by telling us who you're working for, what they're after, and anything else you know. Then we can see about maybe, maybe cutting you a deal.

Ant-Man: Look, I din't have a choice, alright? They've got my daughter. They said they'd hurt her unless I helped them get past your security system. Please, you have to believe me! She needs help. She's just a kid.

Hawkeye: I sanybody buying this guy's story? I mean, he's three different shades of slimy.

Ant-Man: Hey, I realize we didn't meet under the most fort... (text lost)

Deploy 3 - Bringing Down The HouseEdit

Screen TextEdit

With Melter in the house, there's no telling how Long it will stay standing. Deploy someone capable of holding up the walls until S.H.I.E.L.D. support can reinforce them.

StartEdit

Iron Man: Anybody else worried about the ominous creaking?

Hank Pym: This building is solidly constructed, designed to withstand a nummber of different experimental catastrophe scenarios, but a prolonged shoot-out wasn't among them.

Iron Man: And with Melter in the house, there's no telling what exactly is left supporting the house. We've called in the S.H.I.E.L.D. support team, but, we should probably Deploy someone exceedingly strong to keep a roof over our heads till they arrive.

CompleteEdit

Iron Man: The building should hold. A few load-bearing columns were giving out, but we got to them in time, and the S.H.I.E.L.D. support team is reinforcing them now.

Hawkeye: Now if we can just keep Melter from melting the S.H.I.E.L.D. support team, we'll be golden.

Battle 2 (Path A)Edit

Mid-FightEdit

Hank Pym: What you're saying may be true, friend, but until we get things under control here, I'm afraid we'll have to take you into custody. Also, if you wouldn't mind doffing my Ant-Man equipment, it's really not safe for use by the uninitiated.

Ant-Man: You guys don't seem to get it--as soon as they realize I'm no use to them anymore, they'll have no use for Cassie either. I'm not about to take risks with my daughter's safety!

Hawkeye: Whoa! Where'd he go? Anybody got eyes-on?

Hank Pym: He shrank down! There, on the flying Camponotus! He's headed for the air duct!

Maria Hill: According to the building specs, that duct vents hot air from the central server core's cooling tower. He may be headed back in that direction to join up with Melter.

CompleteEdit

Melter: Lang, there you are! I was beginnin' to wonder whether they bagged you. Thought we was gonna have to move on to plan B.

Ant-Man: A deal's a deal. I get you into the server room, we're square, and Cross lets Cassie go.

Melter: Looks like you didn't do such a great job on stoppin' them S.H.I.E.L.D. spooks, 'cuz here they come now. 'Fraid that's not gonna reflect well on your end-of-job performance evaluation.

Ant-Man: Horgan...

Melter: Just get to work on that door, Lang. I'll keep 'em off your back. Then we can revisit our arrangement.

Mini Boss - Melter (Path A)Edit

Mid-FightEdit

Hawkeye: Wow, Melter, did you finally decide to stop delegating punching bag duty to Ant-Man Jr. there?

Melter: Never send an amateur to do the job of a pro, that's what I always say.

Hawkeye: Except for like ten minutes ago, when you did literally the exact opposite of that.

CompleteEdit

Hawkeye: Our Ant-Man imposter got inside the server room shile we were trading pleasantries with Melter.

Hank Pym: Watch it, Melter's on his feet again!

Melter: Lang! You better be done in there, we need to go!

Ant-Man: Here's everything you wanted, Horgan, now call Cross and have him release Cassie.

Melter: There's just one last thing I need you to do, pal, then you get your daughter back.

Ant-Man: What?

Melter: Keep these Avengers busy while I melt us a way out of here. And hey, I'm a nice guy, you can even have a little help. Bring in the mech, boys!

Boss - Ant-Man (Path A)Edit

Mid-Fight 1Edit

Hank Pym: End of the line, thief. Stand down and hand over the suit.

Ant-Man: Oh, look, there are some...uh, other bad guys here for you to fight!

Mid-Fight 2Edit

Ant-Man: On the one hand, I don't really want to fight you...

Hawkeye: And on the other hand?

Hawkeye: No, seriously--what's he got in his hand?

Mid-Fight 3Edit

Hank Pym: Is that a Hydra power armor? How did these guys get their hands on a power armor?

Hawkeye: eBad? Goons-R-Us? A Hydra garage sale? They're villains... I mean, does this stuff really surprise you anymore?

Hank Pym: I suppose not. Keep them off of me, I'll deal with our wannabe shrinkster.

Battle 2 (Path B)Edit

StartEdit

Hawkeye: More of a reason not to, you mean. I don't like it, but it's your call.

Ant-Man: Yes! Thank you! I will not let you down.

Hawkeye: Just so you know, buddy, one wrong move, and you're gonna find yourself on the ointy end of one of these arrows. I'll be wtching you like... well, like a hawk. I guess that kind of goes without saying.

Ant-Man: Understood. Come on, this way! Melter and his crew are trying to break into the central server core.

CompleteEdit

Ant-Man: The plan was for me to burgle my way into the secure server room so that we could download all of the data pertaining to Pym's shrink-tech. Without my help, though, the only way for them to get in there is for Melter to burn through the wall.

Hank Pym: Those servers depend on a fairly delicate cooling system. If Melter rushes the job, he risks compromising the data.

Hawkeye: Can't you just open the door and let us in, Pym?

Hank Pym: Unfortunately, the server room went inot hard lock-down as soon as the alarm was tripped--part of the security protocol. I could lift the lockdown from my office, but I think that will take longer than we have.

Ant-Man: You could try going directly at Melter too, but he's got enough cannon fodder with him to keep you busy until he's long gone. I can get us in there first, you just have to buy me some time.

Battle 3 (Path B)Edit

CompleteEdit

Hank Pym: Melter just penetrated the inner wall, he's inside the server room!

Hawkeye: How's that door coming, buddy? What happened to getting us in there first?

Ant-Man: I meant "first-ish". Bam! Got it.

Hawkeye: After you.

Boss - Hydra Power Armor (Path B)Edit

StartEdit

Hawkeye: Hold it right there, Melter.

Melter: We got what Cross was lookin' for. Hold 'em off while I melt us a way out of here, boys. An' feel free to use that suit they loaned us. I hear those things were designed just for squashin' heroes!

Ant-Man: Melter's getting away with the data!

Hawkeye: And...they've got a power armor. Now would be a great time for you to start proving whose side you're really on, friend.

Mid-FightEdit

Ant-Man: Okay, I've got this. I think. Where's its weak spot?

Hawkeye: It doesn't have one. That's kind of its point.

Ant-Man: Ah. Then I might got this.

Battle 3 (Path C)Edit

StartEdit

Wasp: So... I know the whole "breaking into the server core" thing is going down right around the corner, but I just ran into a squad of Hydra troopers in the entomology lab.

Hank Pym: Hydra is wrapped up in this? The plot thickens.

Director Coulson: Can you determine their objective, Wasp?

Wasp: It looks like they're just holding back. Well... were holding back. They just spotted me and opened fire. In other news, backup would be completely fine with me right now.

WinEdit

Wasp: We've got Ghost sighting! The phasey, villainy one, not the other kind. Looks like he's hosting the Hydra party.

Director Coulson: He's corporate erspionage specialist. If Hydra's involved in this somehow, it's not a surpirse that they'd recruit him for it. Bring him in, if you can. He may have information we can use.

Wasp: Yeah, easier said than done. I did mention the phasey part, right?

Boss - Ghost (Path C)Edit

Mid-FightEdit

Wasp: What's your game, Spooky? What are you doing here?

Ghost: Just ensuring that my employer's assets are being put to good use. They do so hate to be disappointed.

Mission 2Edit

Battle 1Edit

WinEdit

Maria Hill: We have reason enough to believe that Hydra is involved here. Maybe a potential buyer for whatever Cross produces. At the very Least we know they supplied a Power Armor for the operation.

Director Coulson: Not a bad place to start. We can shake that tree and see what falls out--if Hydra made a deal with Crossfire, they may have an idea where we can find him.

Ant-Man: Uh... I get that picking fights with Hydra is something of a specialty of yours, but Cross hes ties troughout the criminal underworld. Wouldn't it be easier to shake that info out of some lowlife punks. As opposed to, say, the heavily armed super terrorists?

Director Coulson: I you know what doors to knock on, I'm game to try that approach too. We can afford to put two teams on this. We should leave no stone unturned. You have a perference, Commander?

Deploy 1 - Pub CrawlEdit

Screen TextEdit

Depoy someone who can keep a low profile to Josie's Bar in Hell's Kitchen. Our target is Turk Barrett, odd-job man for the criminal underworld. He might spill Crossfire's whereabouts if he doesn't get jumpy. Progress: 1 Combat Heroes: Black Widow, Gamora, Hawkeye, Spider-Man (Miles Morales), Wasp

StartEdit

Ant-Man: There's a fellow by the name of Turk Barrett, does odd jobs for anyone in the criminal underworld who can tolerate his total lack of talent at doing odd jobs. I know for a fact he's done work for Cross recently--guy has trouble keeping things to himself.

Hawkeye: Sounds promising. Know where we can find him?

Ant-Man: Hangs out inn a rat hole called Josie's Bar in Hell's Kitchen. You may want to send someone who can be inconspicuous, though. He might bolt if he sees a super-suit walk through the door.

CollectEdit

Ant-Man: Sounds like Turk may have been more trouble than he was worth. He would have told us anything he kew--actually, he may have just literally told us everything he knew--but he was so far down the pecking order, he couldn't provide anything concrete on Cross's whereabouts.

Battle 2 (Path B)Edit

StartEdit

Hawkeye: I like this choice. Mostly because it lets me keep Scotty-boy here within bowshot, where it's a lot harder to backstab us.

Ant-Man: Don't forget, these guys still have my daughter. I don't need any motivation more than that to find them as quickly as possible.

Hank Pym: Now there's just the issue of that shrink-tech gear of mine that you're wearing.

Ant-Man: Uh..yeah. I guess I should probably return that now, seeing as I'm turning over a new leaf.

Hank Pym: I was actually going to say you should keep it. At least until your daughter's safe and we're not asking you to pick fights with dangerous criminals anymore. Welcomme to the team, "Ant-Man".

WinEdit

Hawkeye: These are the guys whi know where to find Cross?

Ant-Man: Well... These are the guys who know the guys. Compartmentalization. You know how criminal kingpins are.

Mini Boss - Mister Hyde (Path B)Edit

Mid-FightEdit

Hawkeye: Alright, Hyde, here's the deal: we understand you've gotten very buddy-buddy with a certain Mr. William Cross, and we'd like to know exactly where we can pay him a visit. Now, we can do this the easy way or the other easy way where we also get to hurt you. Your call.

Mister Hyde: How thoughtful of you to have stopped by. Here I was, just bemoaning having missed my morning constitutional. Be a good sport and at least make me break a sweat.

WinEdit

Ant-Man: Spill it, or you're going to find out what it feels like to have a swarm of bullet ants crawl up your nose and start biting the inside of your face.

Mister Hyde: Crossfire's operating out of the basement of an old theatre on 41st St. You'll never get to him, though. He's too well protected.

Hawkeye: Iguess we'll see about that, won't we?

Director Coulson: We have solid intel on the whereabouts of both Darren and William Cross now. They're operating out of separate locations.

Ant-Man: Darren may be the brainier of the two, but make no mistake, Crossfire is running this operation, and he has my daughter. This won't be over until we stop him.

Hank Pym: But Darren has the stolen shrink tech. He's the one building the weapon. I'm sorry to be big picture here, but if he completes what he's working on and puts it in Hydra's hands, there will be a lot more lives at risk than just your daughter's.

Director Coulson: You know your team best, Commander. How do you want to break this one down?

Battle 3 (Path B)Edit

StartEdit

Ant-Man: I don't think I can ever thank you enough. You really are heroes.

Hawkeye: Don't thank us yet, Lang. We still have to pull this off.

Hank Pym: I understand the difficulty of this decision, Commander, but I think you've let emotion blind xou to the real danger out there.

WinEdit

Ant-Man: I've scouted the place--it's te real deal this time. They're holding Cassie in a room near the back. Crossfire's in there with her. There are an awful lot of men between us and them, though.

Hawkeye: We need to reduce their numbers, quickly and quietly. Let's move.

Hawkeye: Looks like Crossfire's not taking any chances. He's got Tiger Shark working as his personal bodyguard.

Ant-Man: Not sure we can take this one down without making some noise.

Hawkeye: Agreed. You'd better go for Cassie--try to get her out of harm's immediate way. We'll hit Tiger Shark with the big guns.

Mini Boss - Tiger Shark (Path B)Edit

Mid-FightEdit

Tiger Shark: We got company!

Hawkeye: Come on, where'd you learn your manners, Tigey? Is this how you treat company? Where's the welcome mat? The official tour? The hors d'oeuvres?

Tiger Shark: I'm lookin' at 'em.

WinEdit

Hawkeye: Tiger Shark's down. Lang are you---

Ant-Man: Little help!!

Hawkeye: Oh, that's not good.

Hawkeye: Lang managed to get the girl away from Crossfire, but now he's surrounded. They're toast, unless we get in there, Chief.

Boss - Crossfire (Path B)Edit

Mid-FightEdit

Crossfire: Do you know what I do to traitors, Scott? No? Neither do I. Do you know why? Because no one's ever been stupid enough to betray me before. One thing I can promise you though--you and your little girl aren't leaving here in one piece.

Ant-Man: If you so much as disturb a hair on her head, I swear to you, I won't rest until you're broken.

Crossfire: Big words from a little man.

Ant-Man: You have no idea.

WinEdit

Director Coulson: What's your status, team? Is Crossfire contained?

Crossfire: Like hell I am.

Hawkeye: We're...still working on it.

Yellowjacket: Will! Will, it's Darren. The prototype is up and running, but my lab is crawling with S.H.I.E.L.D. I could use a hand.

Crossfire: We're on our way. Fall back, men. We've got bigger fish to fry.

Battle 2 (Path A)Edit

StartEdit

Director Coulson: Just be careful how hard you press. We all know Hydra is a hornet's nest. The last thing we need right now is to get pulled into a prolonged conflict with them.

Hawkeye: Don't worry, we'll be gentle.

Wasp: Besides, some of us like hornets.

WinEdit

Maria Hill: The bank at your location is a known front for Hydra operations. You're unlikely to find any bigwigs hanging out there, but you can at least get your foot on the bottom rung of the ladder.

Hawkeye: I like when the ladder is made of broken Hydra grunt faces.

Battle 3 (Path A)Edit

WinEdit

Hawkeye: Looks like we have our man. Fromm what we've gathered, Tactical Force delivered the Hydra Power Armor to Crossfire's gang personally. Apparently, he's standing by, awaiting fulfillment of their deal at the agreed-upon location.

Director Coulson: Pym Tech?

Hawkeye: Bingo. Apparently Darren Cross is supposed to have a prototype up and running for them by end of day.

Director Coulson: Take him down. We need to know everything he's got on the Crosses.

Deploy 2 - Make an OfferEdit

Screen TextEdit

Silvio Manfredi, aka Silvermane, runs Maggia business in this part of the world. He's involved with the movement of illicit goods and might drop a dime if something moved without his say so. Deploy someone diplomatic to see if he'll cooperate.

StartEdit

Director Coulson: If there was a Power Armor changing hands, it might be worth paying Silvermane a visit. I doubt anything that big could get moved on the DL without his help. Or at least without his noticing.

Hawkeye: Dossier?

Maria Hill: Silvio Manfredi, aka Silvermane. Runs Maggia business in this part of the world. He's heavily involved with the smuggling and transportation of illicit goods.

Director Coulson: And he doesn't take kindly to anyone cutting out the middle man. He's a tough customer, but he's a businessman. If you look him up, Commander, you should send someone diplomatic to negotiate his cooperation.

CollectEdit

Hawkeye: Your hunch was good, Coulson. Silvermane said the Crosses and Hydra have been doing business together, and whatever their deal, they've been trying to keep it very hush-hush. So hush-hush, that they didn't think to pay him his due.

Director Coulson: Could he give us a location?

Hawkeye: Negative. He only knwe that one of the Hydra Four oversaw delivery of the Power Armor.

Deploy 3 - Justin TimeEdit

Screen TextEdit

Justin Hammer may be providing lab facilities to Darren Cross. He has no love for S.H.I.E.L.D. so you'll need to send an Spy to get that intel without his help.

StartEdit

Maria Hill: We've had agents combing every Cross Tech property in the city for Darren, but so far no luck.

Hank Pym: After Darren and I went our separate ways, he partnered briefly with Justin Hammer. It only lasted long enough for Darren to get his own firm off the ground, but it wouldn't surprise me if Hammer were willing to loan him a lab, no questions asked.

Maria Hill: Hammer will deny everything if we confront him. We should Deploy someone ready for a little espionage to get into his security records--see if they can turn anything up.

CollectEdit

: None

Mini Boss - Tactical Force (Path A)Edit

Mid-FightEdit

Tactical Force: S.H.I.E.L.D.. Why am I not at all surprised?

Hawkeye: Your men ratted you out, Tacky. Now it's your turn.

Tactical Force: It's so hard to find good help these days.

WinEdit

Tactical Force: Threaten me all you want, you're never gonna break me.

Director Coulson: We don't have to. Tony, are you in?

Iron Man: Uplink secure--circumventing firewalls, decrypting data...and...blammo. Nice OS you're running there, Tac. Did it occur to you that running poorly modifies StarkSofrt in your helmet would leave you vulnerable to my meddling, or--

Director Coulson: The location, Stark.

Iron Man: Ah, well, all of his GPS data and communications for the last two days are still saved in his buffers, and--extrapolating--looks like Darren Cross is set up in an off-the-books Cross Tech lab at Columbus Circle.

Battle 4 (Path A)Edit

StartEdit

Ant-Man: Then this is where we part ways. I'll rescue Cassie myself.

Hank Pym: You made the hard choice, but it's the right one, Commander. Let's get that technology back.

WinEdit

Hawkeye: Heads up, we've got Hydra bodies moving from cover!

Director Coulson: Looks like thes're leaving nothing to chance. They must have convinced Crossfire to allow some of their soldiers to protect the asset.

Battle 5 (Path A)Edit

WinEdit

Wasp: We're in! It's all over, Cross. We know you have the... Hmm. Uh, anyone see Cross?

Yellowjacket: Right here.

Wasp: Yipes!

Hawkeye: Darren's got the prototype up and running already--and he's wearing it. Gettinng ready to engage.

Boss - Yellowjacket (Path A)Edit

Mid-FightEdit

Wasp: Darren, we don't have to do this. Just surrender peacefully, and no one has to get zapped.

Yellowjacket: Have to do this? Are you kidding, I was hoping to get a chance to give this thing a test run before turning it over to Hydra. Proof of concept and all that.

Wasp: Got it. So that's one order of zapping, with a side of kicked butt. Anything to drink?

WinEdit

Wasp: Hand it over, Cross. The fight's done.

Yellowjacket: No! It's too soon. I... I need more time.

Wasp: He shrank! Does anyone have eyes on?

Hawkeye: The window! He's getting away!

Mini Boss - Shocker (Path C)Edit

Mid-FightEdit

Shocker: Avengers?! You really think I'd help you?! I got no love for Crossfire, but that don't mean there ain't honor among thieves. And let's be real--I don't need much honor to wanna kick your teeth in.

Hawkeye: Shocker?! Shocker's who you were hoping to cut a deal with?!! Really great plan, Lang.

WinEdit

Shocker: Aww, whaddo I care. Last I heard, Cross had his operation set up behind a jewelry store, 36th and 10th. Put in a few extra shots for me.

Ant-Man: With pleasure. See, Hawkeye? Exactly as planned.

Hawkeye: Oh yeah, that played out just like we drew it up.

Mini Boss - Whirlwind (Path C)Edit

Mid-FightEdit

Hawkeye: Lang? You in here? Place is deserted--

Whirlwind: Not exactly.

Hawkeye: Whirlwind!

Whirlwind: Crossfire said some troublesome types might come knocking. I was left instructions to knock back.

WinEdit

Ant-Man: She was supposed to be here! Wherer is she?! Where's Cassie?

Whirlwind: Who? Look, if you want Cross, I can't give him to you. He hired me through a proxy. Some of thes other idiots have workes for him for longer though. Why don't you ask one of them?

Hawkeye: Yeah, no problem. We just have to wait for them to come to first.

Deploy 4 - Tough GuysEdit

Screen TextEdit

Crossfire has hired the Enforcers as muscle before, so Deploy a Scrapper or Bruiser to show them what real muscle looks like.

StartEdit

Hawkeye: You said Shocker was doing work for Cross about a month ago. It's possible his info is out of date.

Ant-Man: Well...our next operation was to pay a visit to the Enforcers. Crossfire enlists them periodically to didh out punishments, collect debts, and "disappear" folks who don't pay up.

Hawkeye: Might not hurt to send someone over to have a talk with htme while we follow up on Shocker's lead. They can pack a wallop, too. I'd suggest sending someone punchy, if you get me.
